About Us
At Wonderfully Made, we celebrate the unique strengths and beautiful differences that each individual brings to our community. Our coffee shop was born from a heartfelt desire to provide meaningful opportunities for young adults with special abilities, offering them a chance to thrive in a supportive environment.
Our founder, Jennifer Rigsby, has always had a passion for helping others. After running a successful bistro, she recognized the need for more inclusive employment options for individuals with special needs, especially as they transition from school to adulthood. Inspired by her daughter Maddie, who has navigated her own health challenges, Jennifer saw an opportunity to create a space where these young adults could contribute and find purpose.
Wonderfully Made is staffed by a diverse team, each member bringing their own unique talents and personality to the shop. From greeting customers to assisting with tasks, we tailor roles to match individual strengths, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to shine. Our commitment to inclusivity means that you don’t need to be a barista to be part of our team—everyone can find their place here.
Our coffee is sourced from Grassroots Coffee, a local roaster dedicated to quality and community. We believe in fostering relationships not just within our team, but also with our customers. When you visit, you’ll experience the warmth and genuine hearts of our employees, who are eager to brighten your day with a smile and a friendly greeting.
Every purchase at Wonderfully Made supports our mission. We allocate all tips toward social activities for our staff, helping them build friendships and create memories beyond the workplace. Whether it’s dining out, going bowling, or catching a movie, these experiences enrich their lives and strengthen our community.
Our vision extends beyond serving great coffee; we aim to create a vibrant space where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. We invite you to join us at Wonderfully Made, where each cup reminds us that we are all wonderfully unique, crafted with purpose by our Creator. Come share in our mission, enjoy a delicious treat, and experience the joy of connection.
Psalms 139:14
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
